This laboratory provides a half day of didactic instruction (Tuesday 10/11 from 8 am-12:15 pm) followed by a half day of laboratory training (Wednesday 10/12 from 8:30 am-1 pm) in advanced small animal laparoscopic techniques.

Material covered includes the following:

• A brief introduction to equipment and approaches
• Discussion of indications and contraindications for advanced laparoscopic procedures

Specific instruction regarding advanced laparoscopic procedures including the following:

• Ovariohysterectomy
• Intracorporeal Gastropexy
• Cholecystectomy
• Adrenalectomy
• Nephrectomy
• Lymphadenectomy & Cisterna Chyli Ablation
• Herniorrhaphy

Please note that this lab will be held at an offsite laboratory facility which currently requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster for admittance.
