Stapling equipment has evolved over the last 10 years. In this laboratory, participants will learn how to use the new linear staplers with directional staple technology. Participants will perform a lung lobectomy and an intestinal anastomosis on foam models using the thoracoabdominal and gastrointestinal anastomosis staplers.
