During the national and global racial unrest in 2020, the ACVS Board of Regents voted to establish an ACVS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) within the College.
An overwhelming number of Diplomates responded to the call for volunteers for the committee, which was charged with crafting a statement on diversity and inclusion and identifying and developing meaningful ways to build opportunity for all.
This lecture summarizes the process of initiating this important work and the significant and ongoing effort of many people to help move DEI forward within ACVS.
