Writing grants is essential for obtaining funding to support clinically-relevant research that advances veterinary internal medicine. Funding for grants is quite limited which renders the process of obtaining grants highly competitive. This presentation will review important principles of grant-writing that should help improve chances for successful grant submissions. It also will help those with limited experience reviewing grants by identifying key elements of good grants.
