The Microbiome in Critically Ill Dogs and Cats: A Criticalist's Perspective

A Panel of two internal medicine specialists and one emergency & critical care specialist will discuss the gastrointestinal microbiome in critically ill dogs and cats. This will cover alterations that occur during critical illness, how commonly used drugs and interventions may alter the MB, and various interventions that may be helpful to mitigate the damage to the GI microbiome in these patients.
