This interactive session aims to discuss in a small group setting practical ways of analyzing exercising ECGs. The first part of the session will provide a theoretical overview with examples of the analysis and interpretation of different exercising ECG arrhythmias (approximately 15 mins). The remaining time will be used for a hands-on workshop utilizing commonly available software programs such as Televet, Excel and Kubios HRV. Participants will have access to an ECG recording, and follow step-by-step how to visually assess the ECG, perform R-R interval analysis, export data for further analysis and graphical representation. The use of Kubios HRV analysis software will also be demonstrated.
Learning Objectives:
How to perform R-R interval analysis using Televet software
How to export RR interval data to create graphical representations of HR and RR intervals over time using Excel
How to perform beat-to-beat and heart rate variability analysis using Kubios HRV software
