Management of Head & Spinal Trauma

This lecture will cover the approach to management of patients with head and spinal trauma, including initial triage exam, stabilization, diagnostics, and treatment options.  This lecture will include a review of the pathophysiology of head and spinal trauma, discussion regarding the diagnosis and management of elevated intracranial pressure, and discussion of the following spinal injuries: vertebral fractures, luxations/subluxations, traumatic IVDD, and spinal cord contusions.
