Dr. Burns DeMarle completed her undergraduate coursework at SUNY Canton where she earned an associate's degree in Veterinary Science Technology and at Cornell University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She then attended the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine followed by both a rotating internship and small animal internal medicine residency at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. After residency, she worked in a private practice in central New Jersey prior to beginning her own internal medicine department at MedVet Norwalk in January 2022. She has a special interest in hepatocutaneous syndrome and copper associated hepatopathy in dogs.
