Dr. Cairns graduated veterinary school from CSU in 2004, completed a small animal rotating internship at Cornell in 2005 and a small animal internal medicine residency at OSU in 2008. She obtained Diplomate status in 2008 and has since been in private clinical practice. Dr. Cairns is National Director of Internal Medicine for Pathway Vet Alliance, the fastest growing veterinary corporation in the country with over 170 practices nationwide. She also serves as Senior Regional Medical Operations Coach for practices in the east half of the country. Her clinical interests include feline medicine, hepatology and inflammatory conditions.
