Emily Gould is a small animal internist who completed her veterinary training at the University of California at Davis, followed by two private practice internships, and an MS and internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee. She joined the Gastrointestinal Lab at Texas A&M University in 2019 to finish her doctoral degree, and began a faculty position in the fall of 2021. Other than general companion animal gastroenterology, her interests include the immune system and non-traditional uses for medications (e.g., acid suppressants) commonly used in GI acid related disorders.
