Madeleine Stein is a small animal internal medicine resident at Tufts University. She received her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College in London, with an intercalated year at the University of Bristol, where she earned a bachelor's of science in biochemistry. After graduation she underwent a rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Due to a developing interest in antimicrobial stewardship she stayed on to pursue a master's degree investigating baseline understanding of North American dog and cat owners around antimicrobial stewardship in companion animal medicine. In addition to antimicrobial stewardship, Dr. Stein's research interests include spectrum of care, veterinary education, and clinical nutrition.
