Francesca Del Baldo graduated from the University of Bologna in 2014 with 110/110 cum laude. In 2015 she carried out a Rotating Internship at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the University of Bologna, Italy (supervisor: Prof. Federico Fracassi). In 2016 she started a Ph.D. in small animal internal medicine and in particular Endocrinology under the supervision of Prof. Federico Fracassi. She concluded the Ph.D. in 2020 with a thesis on canine diabetes mellitus. In 2021 she completed the Residency training program in Small Animal Internal Medicine (ECVIM-CA) at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences, University of Bologna, Italy (supervisor: Prof. Federico Fracassi). She is a board member of the European Society of Veterinary Endocrinology (ESVE) and of the Italian Society of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
