Dr. Nolan Chalifoux is a second year Emergency and Critical Care resident at the University of Pennsylvania Ryan Veterinary Hospital. Originally from Alberta, Canada, Dr. Chalifoux completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan in 2019. He proceeded to complete a small animal rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania Ryan Veterinary Hospital in 2020 and has since remained at PennVet as a resident. His primary interests include septic shock and the microcirculation, extracorporeal therapies, and translational research.
