Veterinary Medicine, University of Ghent. There, she also performed a small animal rotating internship. She worked as a clinician is several private practices and at the clinic of Small Animals (Ghent University). Her main interests are endocrinology and oncology in dogs and cats.
In 2019 she started her PhD on ‘treatment optimization of canine thyroid carcinoma’ under the supervision of professor Dr. Sylvie Daminet and Dr. Kathelijne Peremans at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ghent. They focus on providing a good treatment option for every dog with thyroid cancer, to ensure the best quality of life for as long as possible.
