Dr. Jessica Gentile Solomon was born and raised in northern New Jersey and knew she wanted to become a veterinarian since the age of 11. She received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Cornell University and her DVM from Kansas State University. After a small animal rotating internship at Oregon State University, Dr. Solomon completed a combined MS/Residency in cardiology at the Virginia-Maryland Regional CVM. Following residency, Dr. Solomon founded the medical and interventional cardiology program at a large specialty and emergency hospital in New York City. In 2013, Dr. Solomon joined IDEXX Telemedicine Consultants and is now the Medical Manager for the Cardiology group within IDEXX. Dr. Solomon lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, two daughters, one bullmastiff, and the greatest cat in the world.
