Karin Kriström graduated 2013 from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Uppsala, Sweden and is since 2018 undertaking her doctoral studies at the same university. The aims of the thesis are to investigate occurrence, consequences and causative factors of taurine deficiency in Cocker spaniels. Karin is also an ECVIM-resident in cardiology at Anicura Albano Small Animal Hospital, Danderyd, Sweden.
