I graduated as a veterinarian in 2018 from the faculty of veterinary medicine at Ghent University, Belgium. Directly afterwards I embarked on a small animal rotating internship at the same faculty. At that point I started a certificate in small animal cardiology, which I am currently finishing. After a short stint working in private practice, I was able to start a cardiology residency in 2020, also at Ghent University. My special interests are interventional cardiology and cardio-oncology.
