Dr. Andrea Oliver is a 2nd year internal medicine resident at University of Pennsylvania New Bolton Center. She completed veterinary school at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and subsequently completed an internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Her research interests include laminitis (particularly early diagnosis) and the physiology of acid-base relationships. In the clinical setting, she enjoys diagnostic and treatment challenges including laminitis, kidney disease, and liver disease in large animal patients. In her free time, she enjoys not diagnosing or treating her own horse, Otter.
