Dr. Bechtel received her DVM from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2018. She completed her rotating internship at VCA Alameda East in 2019 and her specialty internship in small animal internal medicine at VCA West Coast in 2020. She then returned to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for her small animal internal medicine residency and is currently in the second year of her program.
