Dr. Gal received his DVM degree in 2001 from the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine in Israel. Between 2006-20014, Dr. Gal had completed Small Animal Internal Medicine and Anatomic Pathology residencies, achieved dual board certifications, and completed a PhD at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Between 2015-2018 Dr. Gal had worked at the School of Veterinary Science at Massey University, New Zealand, and has been back at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since the beginning of 2019. Dr. Gal is interested in metabolic and endocrine diseases from the clinical, functional, and morphologic perspectives.
