Lutz Goehring graduated from Utrecht University, The Netherlands in 1993. He did his Residency and Masters at Marion DuPont Scott Equine Medical Center, Leesburg VA. His career includes Clinical Instructor and PhD (Equine Herpesvirus -associated Myeloencephalopathy), Utrecht University, The Netherlands 1998 - 2005; Assistant - Associate Professor at Colorado State University, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Colorado 2005 - 2013. SInce 2013, Dr. Goehring has been Professor and Head Equine Medicine and Reproduction, Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich- Germany.
