Vicky Yang is a board-certified veterinary cardiologist and research assistant professor at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, MA. Before obtaining her DVM degree from Tufts University, she studied engineering, earning an S.B. degree in materials science and engineering and a Ph.D. in electronic materials from MIT. Her current research interests include canine myxomatous mitral valve disease, extracellular vesicle and non-coding RNA biomarker development, and cardio-oncology, specifically using the canine model to better understand cardiovasculotoxicity associated with cancer treatment.
