Dr. Kidd received her DVM and residency training in Small Animal Internal Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She obtained a PhD in Immunology with a minor in Molecular Biology from North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, after which she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Scripps Research Institute. Dr. Kidd is a Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences, CVM. Her research interests include vector-borne and immune-mediated disease and mechanisms of thrombosis in dogs with immune mediated hemolytic anemia.
