Dr. Kleinhenz is a clinical pharmacologist and production medicine veterinarian at Kansas State University. He received his DVM from The Ohio State University. He worked as a food animal veterinarian in West Central Ohio with a focus on large animal medicine. He completed an ABVP residency in dairy at Iowa State University in 2015; and completed his PhD and clinical pharmacology residency at Kansas State University in 2018. His research interests are pain assessment and therapeutics; uses of industrial hemp and cannabinoid pharmacology; and antibiotic use in food animals.
