Dr. Bowman initially trained in human parasitology and tropical diseases. He also assisted in the teaching of parasitology to the first three classes of the new Veterinary College in Wisconsin. Dr. Bowman is now at Cornell University and has been for 30+ years. He is Past President of AAVP, found member and Past President of CAPC, and delegate to the WAAVP for North America.
