Dr. Oliver Garden, Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Kenneth Burns Endowed Chair at Louisiana State University, was previously Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences & Advanced Medicine at Penn Vet. After undertaking veterinary training and a PhD at the Royal Veterinary College, he completed Wellcome Trust Fellowships at the University of South Carolina and Imperial College London, as well as a Small Animal Internal Medicine Residency at Cornell University. He is board-certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
