Dr. Tom Favale received his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Iowa State University. In 2001 he was accepted into a non-conforming veterinary behavior residency program. After practicing as an associate small animal veterinarian for twenty years, he purchased a one doctor practice.
He earned a Master’s degree in social work from Loyola University in Chicago and is now at the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine as a social worker on the Veterinary Social Work team and Clinical Assistant Professor.
