Dr. Kara Lascola obtained a Masters of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed her DVM, an internship and residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Regenerative Medicine at Tufts University .
She worked as an Assistant and Associate Professor of Equine Medicine at the University of Illinois prior to joining Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 where she is an Associate Professor of Equine Internal Medicine.

Her research interests include respiratory disease and physiology, and pharmacology.
