Geof Smith graduated from Clemson in 1994 and then received a MS in toxicology from University of Illinois in 1996 and a DVM in 1998. Following graduation, Geof remained at Illinois for another 4 years completing a residency in ruminant internal medicine along with a PhD. Dr Smith was a Professor of Ruminant Medicine at North Carolina State University for 20 years before joining Zoetis as a Dairy Technical Services Veterinarian. He is a Diplomate of the ACVIM and his primary clinical and research interests focus on calf health.
