Dr. Mazan is a Professor of Large Animal Internal Medicine in the Department of Clinical Sciences, and the Director of the Tufts Equine Respiratory Health Laboratory. She runs a successful BAL cytology service, providing interpretation of BAL cytology to practices across the country. Dr. Mazan is the previous past President of the Tufts University Faculty Senate, and continues to teach, do research in respiratory physiology, equine lung function testing, and novel therapeutics and diagnostics for Equine Asthma.
