Derick is an anatomic pathologist and is Vidium's VP of Strategy, Innovation, and Diagnostics. He is an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health. Before joining Vidium in 2021, he was a pathology manager at a major veterinary diagnostic laboratory. Derick loves to teach, create and lead projects that matter, and is passionate about all things dermatopathology and oncopathology. He likes to explore the ways technology is impacting veterinary diagnostics, and how genomics and machine learning will change how we think about pathology.
