Kate McGovern graduated from the Royal Vet College, London in 2005. She completed the internship at Donnington Grove and spent some time in ambulatory practice. She then undertook a 3 year residency training program in Illinois, USA in equine internal medicine which allowed her to become board certified.
Kate is a clinical director at Donnington Grove Veterinary Group, Newbury, UK. She set up and leads the internal medicine service at the hospital. Her major interests are all medical and surgical aspects of gastrointestinal disease, critical care and neonatology.
