Dr. Carr received his veterinary education at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich Germany. After 3 years in practice he returned to the US to complete an internship at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a professor of small animal medicine in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. His main areas of interest are hard to pin down other than it is all clinically relevant. He is widely published in the US and Europe and is co-editor of three books.
