Nicola Mason is a Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences and Advanced Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College, London and her Immunology PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. She performed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Abramson Cancer Center, School of Medicine at UPenn and now runs a translational research lab at UPenn SVM which focuses on developing safe and effective cellular immunotherapies for dogs with cancer and autoimmunity. More recently, the lab is exploring the use of cellular approaches to induce tolerance for successful transplantation.
