Eric Richard graduated (DVM) in 2005 (Liège, Belgium); underwent an Equine Internship (Montréal, Canada) and defended his PhD in 2009 (Liège, Belgium). Dr Richard is now Head of Unit (Clinical Biology) & Senior Researcher (Inflammation & Immunity) at LABÉO (France). He obtained early 2017 the accreditation to supervise research (HDR) and became ‘ECEIM Associate Member’ in 2021. His main areas of expertise and interest are “Equine asthma” as well as “early biomarkers” of equine diseases. Eric was also a Show Jumping rider at international level for over 10 years.
