Dr. Banse obtained her DVM from Washington State University in 2007, and completed a combined residency (equine internal medicine) and PhD program at Oklahoma State University in 2013. After four years on faculty at the University of Calgary, she moved to LSU where she is presently an Associate Professor of equine medicine and Associate Dean for Educational Strategy. Her research interests include equine glandular gastric disease, equine endocrinology, curriculum development and clinical skills.
