Dr. Paul earned her DVM degree from Cornell University and has completed a residency in equine internal medicine at Louisiana State University. She remains at LSU as a clinical instructor in equine medicine while completing her PhD studies. Dr. Paul’s research interest is in pathophysiology of equine glandular gastric disease (EGGD). Specific investigations into the association of EGGD with the gastric microbiome have been researched and published by Dr. Paul and her associates.
