We will discuss how errors impact our teams. Errors hurt not only our patients, but us as their caregivers. This is called the second victim phenomenon, and it contributes to the stress and burnout common in our profession. We will discuss the importance of a strong patient safety culture, and how one can be established and fostered in our clinics and hospitals.
