Pathogenesis and Management of Gallbladder Mucoceles in Dogs

Unheard of as recently as 20 years ago, gallbladder mucocele formation now resides among the most common and deadliest extrahepatic biliary disease of dogs. This presentation will share the current state of understanding of this disease in dogs and rationale for patient management. An emphasis will be given to results of research investigating the cause and pathogenesis of this enigmatic disease.
