This session will introduce several clinical cases of notable feline parasitic disease. Emphasis will be placed on disease recognition, diagnostic testing, and therapy. Cases were diagnostically challenging and required novel diagnostic modalities, demonstrated treatment resistance, and emphasized the importance of collaboration between practicing internists and a parasitologist.

Learning Objectives:

Appreciate novel presentations of feline parasitic disease.
Recognize diagnostic testing modalities for selected feline parasitic diseases.
Be able to select appropriate treatment for selected feline parasitic diseases.
Synthesize parasite biology with case management.
