Mireille Meylan is Professor for ruminant internal medicine and head of the stationary Clinic for Ruminants of the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Bern, Switzerland; she received her veterinary degree from the University of Bern, her MS from the Ohio State University where she did her residency, before returning to Switzerland for her PhD at the University of Bern. She is a diplomate of ACVIM and the European College of Bovine Health Management (ECBHM). Her main current research interests are calf health, antimicrobial resistance, digestive and infectious diseases of ruminants.
