Crystal Ma is a second-year veterinary student at the Ohio State University (OSU) interested in small animal internal medicine and research. She was a participant of the 2021 OSU Summer Research Program, through which she developed a passion for research in biomarkers of kidney disease. After graduation, Crystal hopes to pursue a small animal rotating internship followed by a combined internal medicine residency/PhD program. Outside of school, she is an avid rock climber and enjoys spending time outdoors.
