Naomi Kirkwood is a final year veterinary science student at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. She developed a passion for equine endocrinology throughout her studies, and has dedicated her research so far to equine Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (PPID), under the supervision of equine medicine specialists Allison Stewart and Kristopher Hughes. Naomi will complete her veterinary degree in July of 2022 and plans to begin work in rural mixed practice prior to pursuing her passion for equine internal medicine.
