Dr. Showers was born and raised in Mackinaw Illinois. She received her BS in molecular genetics and DVM from The Ohio State University. She is currently completing a small animal rotating internship at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Showers' professional interests include cardiology, research, and veterinary education.
