Vanessa Wilkins is a non traditional veterinary student at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate (Biotechnology) and Master's (Biology) degrees at California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, CA. While she has an extensive background in equine medicine as a veterinary practice manager for over a decade, she is excited to pursue a career in small animal emergency. Vanessa is also looking forward to continuing academic pursuits in studying canine end of life events with the Dog Aging Project.
