He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Tocantins and residency in Small Animal Medicine at the São Paulo State University (Unesp). He completed his master's and doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (Medical Clinic) at Unesp-Jaboticabal.. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Paraná, where he works in the undergraduate courses in Veterinary Medicine and postgraduate courses in Veterinary Sciences. In 2018, he was a visiting professor at the Department of Animal Medicine, Production and Health at the Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy). He has experience in Veterinary Medicine, with emphasis on Small Animal Medicine, working mainly on the following subjects: comparative cardiology and internal medicine.
