Technician Luncheon: FOUR PAWS and Teamwork - A Pathway to Success in Nutritional Recommendations

The seminar will apply the concepts of the 4PAWS approach to a nutrition case. The seminar will start with communication strategies around understanding client goals and concerns, including proper use of effective open-ended questions, before discussing how to approach clients with empathy and understanding in addressing their nutritional goals and concerns. The seminar will then move on to discuss addressing client goals with specific solutions, including understanding the pet owner perspective on value, use of educational tools and clear follow-up plan, and the importance of offering home food delivery to improve compliance with nutritional recommendations.
