The presentation will start with a brief overview of the diagnosis of pancreatitis in dogs. Next, the speaker will cover the current standard of care for the management of pancreatitis in dogs. The final portion of the presentation will cover the latest research, clinical trials, approaches of treatment in other countries, and new drugs that may prove valuable for the treatment of this condition.

Learning Objectives:

Articulate current diagnostic approach to identify presumptive canine pancreatitis cases including blood work, lab work, and imaging.
Explain and implement standard of care for canine pancreatitis management.
Explain the mehanism of action of novel treatment strategies for pancreatitis.
