The Science and Safety of Raw Food Diets

Raw feeding of dogs and cats is growing - both in popularity and as a matter of concern for veterinarians. Pet owners continue to claim that raw feeding has benefitted their pets with skin, GI and other health problems. There are studies appearing in the literature with preliminary data, from the biochemical make-up of the diet to epidemiologic findings; some will be reviewed here.
