 Snyder Mfg. Co. was formed in 1957 when Charles Snyder invented the first cat and dog veterinary housing made with durable laminate and anodized aluminum gates.  
  Since its inception, Snyder has never stopped innovating animal care housing by adding benches, portholes, heated floors, and litter pan rooms. More recently, venting and LED lighting were added as popluar options. In 2011, Snyder introduced the industry changing Eurocondo, which finally gave cats the stress-reducing environment they so desparately needed.  Snyder also expanded into treatment housing by introducing the first fully self-contained Intensive Care Unit in 1974 and the Avian/Exotic Treatment Cage (ATC) in 1985. 
  Over the last five decades, the Snyder ICU has evolved into a state-of-the-art unit that veterinarians worldwide consider the “Gold Standard”. Snyder also intoduced the Cage Dryer with safety features in 1965 and the first tempered glass kennel run gates in 1999.
